The Autumn Fair at Skåne Farmstead is held on the last weekend in September each year. Traditionally similar fairs were held all over Sweden where people would trade craft wares‚ household necessities and farm animals. At the Autumn Fair you will meet tavern waitresses‚ stable-lads‚ farmers and smallholders who each provide a taste of life at a country fair back in the days. Enjoy traditional music and participate in pastimes such as tug of war and wrestling. After lingering through the abundance of textiles, handmade ropes, toys and candy, treat yourself with a traditional pea soup washed down with warm schnapps. You earned it!
