A fan circles in irregular paths above our heads, water is pumped frantically up in cascades, and in another of the halls we walk in a labyrinthine architecture of colored space. Olafur Eliasson is a Danish-Icelandic artist known for sculptures and large-scale installation art employing elemental materials such as light, water, and air temperature to enhance the viewer’s experience. Together with Moderna Museet, Reality Machines showcased a selection of Olafur Eliasson’s works that are definitely food for thought.
